Big Brother Of Mine

Big Brother Of Mine

A Poem by Jessica
"

My brother has really inspired me in life, I love him dearly.

"
The strong but quiet soul,
Strength and lessons I witnessed.
Saw the beauty of a big brother,
Learned who I wanted to be.
Big brother of mine inspired me,
I wasn't sure of this when I was younger,
But I am very sure of it now.

I want to follow in his foot steps,
not of life but of his quality of life.
To follow his life experiences,
To learn and see the things he saw.
To do and be as kind as funny as him,
To love someone as he loves them,
To see things like him.

Big brother of mine,
so caring and quiet,
Yet so inspiring to know.
Lucky is what I am to have him in my life,
So amusing and beautiful of a brother.
Him, Himself a wonder to me
I ask myself how can I be like him?

Big brother I love you,
We might not talk as much as some do,
But I do look up to you.
You amaze me with your life,
I want to be like you,
Any young sister would love to have you as a brother,
But I guess fate new I needed you.

There's nothing like the love of your older brother. He's there for you, and you look up to him for inspiration. I can really relate to this poem! Thank you for sharing.
