The Part I see

The lovely fires.

Out there

Where your eyes are blue

You say

I can’t be what I am for you

 

But in here

Under lights that make you shine

I notice the difference in you

I notice every time

 

We’ll fire up ourselves

Make them wish that they’d know

I actually don't know what to classify my poetry as? If anyone knows (because I just write, I was never taught) it would be great to know.

I love the contrast between how you are treated inside and outside - suggests to me some difference between how he (I assume) wants you to be in public versus what he wants from you in private (ie the bedroom).
