Valhalla Awaits

Valhalla Awaits

A Poem by Elle M.
"

the Hall of the Slain

"
The battle awaits and so does the glory
Odin protect me
But if I do die I die with honor
Sweet Valkyrie carry me away from Midgard
Bring me to Odin's hall
Let me drink mead and sing songs with my fellow fallen
We will tell each other story in our eternal resting place
The family I leave behind will know my tales
They will pass on my stories for generations to come
And I wait to see my sons as well in Valhalla,
the Grand mead Hall of the Slain
Together we will drink and sing
Valhalla awaits

I was bored and high on Norse Mythology! (If that's possible)
