A Chapter by .Because.I.Said.So.

Fear is black, like being lost in a dark cave
Or like being locked in a coffin just a bit too small
Fear drips, and flows through my veins, like a leaky faucet.
Fear reminds me of when my stepfather died
It makes me feel grey, or red, like being numb, or in shock.
It makes me want to scream

Fear is black, because we fear the unknown.

Author's Note

In my English class, we had to describe an emotion by writing a poem like this, and this is how the rest of them will probably look. It's just a rough draft, and it'll probably go through some both major and minor editing, so suggestions are welcome. This is my first shot on really opening up in my writing, so yeah :)

Hi! I love writing. Poetry, books, stories, songs, most everything. I may not be good, but I love it, and FYI, I'm proud of my work, no matter what anyone says! I decided that if YOU don't like it, D.. more..
