A thank you (Ode to me)

A thank you (Ode to me)

A Poem by A LaDy NaMeD D
"

what are you doing??? read the poem silly!

"

I am meant to do this
Without this I would be lost
It gives me the power to express my views
Show others the real me
                Everything I’ve been through
I can just taste the possibilities
                My dreams,
On the verge of….
                Success
I’m never going to give up
As long as I still have breath
Without this,
I would be doing all the wrong
With this, I’ve grown strong
Lets not forget the support I’ve had
The people who never gave up on me
Through the good and the bad
Those who have encouraged me
                Influenced me
I was meant to do this
                WRITE?

Nice poem! The colours make an otherwise normal-looking poem interesting to read. I also like the last stanza, stating two words at the same time. :)

Pretty cool poem. Now I want to write a tribute poem, lol. You get all the good ideas! Hmph!!! I love all the color you added to it. I gotta get the hang of that some time, lol.

Applause, applause!
Each and every line is extremely true, and must have been extremely moving for you to write.
Great job!

HI!!!! It's been a LONG time and a lot has changed. I think the only thing that hasn't changed is my want to be a published author. I typically write erotica, but i'm know to dibble and dabble in .. more..
