Whilst' Butterflies Fly

Whilst' Butterflies Fly

A Poem by DepthWriter
"

"Was told this one... could be a song!"

"
Whilst' Butterflies dance in empathy

mocking birds gleam down on the symphony

of a dream long ago alongside the orifice

of juicy lips torturing, teasing your hide

Carving out there own itinerary

a course to love, for the decrepit above

Starving inside incertitude fury

a depiction from above, for the chalice does

I'll be that unitary; that beats all night the illumination of a tympanum

I'll be the airy; that guides the emotion, into a beautiful new morrow

I'll sandwich my arms around you, and whisper into your heart, a beauty

that will carry you beside the ridges of yesteryear

that will carry you alongside the dedications of a single tear

and when you shout...

...I will be there to entomb your anxiety

...I will be there to rub out that teardrop

...I will be there to wipe off the calumny

Erasing your painfulness

under the running rainfall

knotting the discoloration

splitting apart the chain

that has...

held you down for so long
I will sing you a consoling song

I will be...

the bridge that keeps you together
the ridge you stand upon, as we gather

Have you forgotten
that you are a beautiful soul

I need some Dylan and Joan music to listen to when reading your poetry. I like the places you took me with you in your words. The description was calm and beautiful. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
