No Measure

about friendship

Our friendship started many years ago.
Where the days have gone I no longer know,
but when I think of all we have done,
I can't help but stop in each moment we spend.
Simply just because we have had so much fun.
I hope you know how much I care. 
It's friends like you who create a pair.
I wish I were closer to share your happiness;
But near or far, I wouldn't miss
all the things you have to share.
I hope you know I will always be here should you need.
There is nothing too small, too big;
Nothing too important nor insignificant;
Nothing too pretty or too ugly.
No problem you can't bare,
No joy you can't share,
With me it is all possible.
Time and effort we give,
Time and time we forgive.
But surely you must always know this.
That I know it is harder being miles away,
But always believe me and remember this when I say,
"our friendship is a treasure,
 well beyond any can measure."
