Gone too soon

having you in my life is like receiving my very first gift in my life. And when I lost you..... i don't know anymore

You always make me angry and make me cry in the end

You keep on apologizing while holding my hands

And when you say I love you and I’m sorry

With sincerity in your words, I forgive you instantly

 

Foreheads are pressed together as we cuddle tonight

With your arms that binds me to your side

You always held me with warmth and tender

In your hands, you have my heart forever

 

But these days, I am no longer loved by you

Nor treasured and needed as always you do

I wake up in this lonely room that makes me feel so cold

You already left my side, you left me with pain that makes me fold

 

My days full of laughter replaced by pain

Tears won’t stop falling, it’s like a heavy rain

In your arms I want to stay

But our pictures just faded away

 

Before I met you, I used to be alone

And now that you’re gone, I can’t go on my own

We became undone, memories hung in the midair

You’re gone too soon, it’s so unfair.

I would merely want to let u know that your emotions here are well-expressed. The only problem is that you are forcing the rhyme scheme. You could have let it flow smoothly every line than thinking too much of words to make each line rhyme. But all in all, this is good. Keep writing.

Losing someone too soon is just painful...As life continues, only memories will cover everything that is left behind. Even in love...The feelings here are divine and straight to the point...Good poem...

ouch..... :'( this made me remember the happiest days i once had with him.. and now all i have are those painful memories... *sighs*
anyway, this is a really poignant poem about losing someone we love. many can relate to this.. :) the emotions are outpouring, and the words are flowing smoothly.. it is also very creative of you to change the color of some words that you want to emphasize. it made the whole piece very interesting.. :) a really enjoyable write! ^_^
