Undying Memory

I tried to face the pain alone but I failed,
an internal war begins, I surrender
I stranded from my path, forgetting who I am, remember
I'm chained to this unending nightmare.

Your memory haunts my pleasant dreams
the scar left in my heart, begins to bleed
making me relieve the pain I felt that day, I lost you.

When I begin to lose my sanity
I can't let it win over me, got to fight it
recalling the happiness you brought me
I'll keep you safe in my memory
imagining us together forever.

For too long I walked alone in darkness, not anymore
I found the strength to overcome the pain,
even if darkness is left inside your memory
I'll cherish it, because of you, I won this war.

I'm getting the feeling that English might not be your first language given you have some spelling and grammatical errors in the text of this poem. Poetically speaking you might consider some line breaks in a few places so the musicality can better flow through it all - same goes for the removal of some words in certain lines.

I say all that because in essence - the very soul of this poem - has major potential. There are lines in this that are stunning, but are undermined by the fact that the musicality isn't all there, and you might not be using the right word(s). - "stranded" nunca lleva la preposición "from" que significa "quedarse varado". Si es lo que querías decir, sólo hace falta cambiar el "from". Si no es lo que querías decir, la palabra que sí quieres es "strayed" (de "desviarse").

- "relieve" es "aliviar"; "relive" es "revivir"

- la poesía requiere una musicalidad para provocar un catarsis profundo del lector. Si no la tienes bien, a pesar de la magnificencia de algunas líneas, el poema completa sería en ruinas. Hay que sentir el flujo del poema - cómo avanza línea por línea, y así llegar a un fin deseado. No hace falta caber muchas palabras en una sola línea o detallar una imagen para que los lectores te entiendan. Si lo haces con lo suficiente, todos te entenderán.

- cuidado con la concordancia de tiempo. Al principio hablas en el presente, pero en algunos momentos pasas al pasado sin motivo claro.

-"stranded" viene de "quedarse varado" (y no creo que eso fuera lo que querías decir). Creo que querías "strayed" ("desviarse")

-"relieve" es de "aliviar"; "relive" es "revivir"

-cuidado con la concordancia de tiempo que empiezas en el presente y pasas a veces al pasado sin motivo claro.

-la poesía fluye con los sentimientos. Todo emana de una sensación y un flujo que influye los sentimientos. Si tratas de explicarte bastante, la experiencia queda en ruinas. No hace falta detallarlo todo. Si pintas la imagen suficientemente, los lectores lo entenderán.
