The Marching Band

Morning rises to a new day
As the marching band begins to play
Trumpets call and the low brass bellow
Clarinets and flutes so soft and mellow

As the marching band begins to play
Set by set, pictures move together
Clarinets and flutes so soft and mellow
Counting structures take a stand

Set by set, pictures move together
Guard girls dance amongst the band
Counting structures take a stand
Following the beat of the drum major’s hand

Guard girls dance amongst the band
Trumpets call and the low brass bellow
Following the beat of the drum major’s hand
Morning rises to a new day

Wow,
I really enjoyed reading this, it flowed pretty well.

Did you mean to repeat lines within different stanzas? I thought it disrupted the beat slightly, but that was the only flaw I could really see.
