Reminisce

Reminisce

A Poem by Veronica
"

Remember those childhood day... they may not last forever...

"

Reminisce

The wind blew through the day
Heavy panting, a raging wail
Sun shining bright above the clouds
Shadows chased on as they continued to run
The green grass flared as the sun hit
So out of breath and out of sight
A large tree set amongst his back
Two figures ran by under the moonlight
The lake stayed still as it rustled through
A screeching halt and then a loud knock
Birds chirped softly up in the tree
“Password please”
Eyes opened as he awoke from his dream
The door opened wide as they entered to hide

I love the fact that you are definitely very good at metaphors. Nice imagery as well. I did not understand this one line "Password please". Very nice work overall.
