Ugly Girl

A sad story … a future tale of me

Known as the girl who as ugly as can be

 

Sleepy eyes and a nose so wide

Heavy chin and ears up a side

 

A forest of trees as hair and yellow teeth

All that covers my insides and what is beneath

 

A prince used to be my dream with a kiss of true love

But it never happened and no blessings came from above

 

Sorrows and pain was my heart and mind

Grudge, hatred and pity it turned you will find

 

A broken mirror from my beastly face

My shattered pride and my hunger for grace

 

A wave from an angel's wing to force my smile

That is all my prayers … I begged for a while

 

Deprived from passion and life … I moan

My way to live until I die ... alone
