A Poem by Germany Rose

That surpasses all written learning known to me before.

-with a nod to Edgar Allen Poe-

Of such radiant learning.

With thy celestial eyes burning--with an eternal fire of faith and discerning..

That surpasses all written learning known to me before.

As I stand there--gazing and beholding.

I am shown my life unfolding--in many a different holdings.

Much more than I ever had wanted to show before.

I sat down--swinging and swaying--hoping and praying that my sole goodness would be at it's core.

"Brother" he cried, as the Angel in tears stood embracing, with my heart racing-- much faster than it ever has raced before.

Embracing-- this feeble body completely unknown to him before.

The tears...pacing much faster than my heart racing.

Now a river.

All the scarlet sins I bore.

"I was a liar!" said I!

A deceit and a thief!

I've laid in darkness for so long...

I've played the part of the world's sheep.

---Suddenly, a bright figure had appeared---

And I...fell dead...at His feet.

When He spoke...my soul was restored.

"You had faith and believed"

"I had told you that you would be with me in Paradise"

"For now--forever--and forevermore"

I view writing as an endless easel, with each abstract word exploring the vast intangibles of life! It holds my own personal resolve when my tears intermix with the journal in my pocket. (But of c.. more..
