Shelter

Shelter

A Poem by Devinked7115

He crashed the mirrors in front of me,
Dragged me to the unknown.
Sent my chains to animosity,
Freed me in solitude.
Left me in the darkness -
Daunted by my flesh and blood.

Then, a light transformed me,
Fed me with unending hope.
Taught me a dream, I can now grasp!
He believed in my nothingness...
I succumbed in His arms.
There is suffering but then,
There is more joy.
