Emotioned by music

The effect of music(love songs) on a broken heart.

I lay down on my bed devoid of the world.
Tranquilized,i open myself up to this vast resonant rythm.
A music...,
A music which utters on the mystique's of love,
"The echos of the heart."
As i sync myself to its flow,
Somehow im drowned into a pool of emotions.
A place so intense i cant help but reminisce...,
Reminisce on a love so beautiful and magical
For a moment it feels like a fairytale.
But unlike all fairytales,the music fades out
And i seem to be drawn back into reality...,
reality where im just lying on my bed all alone,missing her.

i think this is a confessional poem of longing...nicely said...i especially like "i sync myself to its flow"

some editing needed but a good piece, simply stated but with good phrasing...

i like shorter pieces like this...often much harder impact felt.

Music is strong. It has the ability to change and alter emotions; sometimes even wipe away the bad ones, but only for a while. Music, here, is like the act of sleeping or dreaming, but eventually we have to wake up and reality is there is hit is smack in the face until we deal with our struggles completely in THIS world.

I like the concept of this one...I think the flow could have been a little stronger in some places, as you go back and forth between long and short lines and you use some punctuation that I don't think you really need (i.e. the elipses--in poetry, they are rarely used, because they are to signify a thought that has been trailed off and not continued again, or a very long pause. You are better to stick with commas or "dashes" to separate sections if you feel they need separation). Also, your capitalization isn't completely consistent.

So...I would give this one top honors for concept, just needs a little work on the form. I enjoyed the read and look forward to reading more of you! :)

We live in this world of reality, so we have to wake up from dreaming. Every story has an end...so as the music.
