Out From a Dream

Out From a Dream

A Story by DhaVerd

Woke from a bad dream,
It seems that I question if this reality.
Every time I wake it's a dawn of a new break.
Fake that dream and push it away.
No one has anything to say, not a simple: Are you okay?
In this ocean of reality,
I'm drowning; falling endlessly into the depths.
For I feel so alone, feeling pain upon my chest.
The home of my soul tries to remain bold, but how can I if my words are not told?
In this world that we must mold, I for once am beginning to feel cold.
Here the light rises above, only to get shoved back down as the dark conquers the land.
It's an endless cycle without a champion to stand.
But that's the problem with waking from a bad dream into reality.
