THE TRIAL FOR INDIVIDUALISM

 

 

His strong sense of individualism edified those around him thus threatened society’s traditional ways of reason. For opposing popular belief, the young, free-thinking man was hunted like wild game thus arrested by those who’d succumb to customary credence of sanctioned minds.

Those who sat in common chairs could not allow a fair trial; the gravitation of his singularity could free the minds tamed by inherited thoughts. With rays of sunlight beaming through cracks in the dungeon court walls; he joyously stood alone without any representation before the council of conformity where he was tried, and found guilty of mere uniqueness.
