can not

can not

A Poem by Digvijay Singh

Oh dear love,
You can not chord the symphony
of your rhythm with veins under my skin.
You can not dance on the beats
of my chest wearing luxury of your heals.
You can not count red roses, our
nights and sum up the ocean of my love.
Oh dear love,
You can not.

Not sure how to read this poem. I'm getting a sense that the narrator is sick of the kind of woman who dances on his heart with high heels & expect gifts of jewels for her trouble. I guess the superficiality of picking a woman for the way she looks is not very satisfying. Too bad. But guys do this all the time, so don't cry to me. It seems like this poem conveys more scorn than understanding (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

the word ''love'' is sometimes not enough....
Thank you for making me feel something I probably never would for someone in actuality...
