Why didn't I think of this?

Why didn't I think of this?

A Poem by Annabelle Lee

In, out, it will all be okay
You can still play your flute
And hit up before school weights

Enjoying the last week and a half I have
Before the summer really ends
I can't believe it's really here!
My sophomore/junior year begins

Just got my schedule done yesterday
A few extra classes, and sacrifice
It will be worth it
Graduating early will be nice

Can't be in band, vocal, art, or weights
But this is really worth it
It's all gonna be okay

I can still be in the fall musical, and pep band
Weights before school
My own workout, even, I can stand

But graduating without the kids
That have been with me for seven years
Why didn't I think of this?

You have chosen the hard route Annabelle Lee - I don't think anyone on WC who knows you would expect any less from you. You tackle things head on and thats a trait that will keep you on the right path, always...
Good Luck!

It's awesome that you are graduating early good for you. And not being in band, I just don't know if I could do it lol that's like the only reason I go to school some days but I completely understand but you're doing what's best for you and that's what matters the most. Great poem and keep up the good work :)
