ITS BEEN FOREVER

Annabelle Lee's been totally MIA

But she did go to state today

In cross country, 315 miles away

All of my teammates and I did okay

And made plans for a future relay

Got 55th of 84th place

The season's over, and that's okay

Been managing the football team

Another reason you ain't seen me

I think they're headed to state in a few weeks

Been spending all afternoon with them practicing

Got a part in the fall play

Practices go pretty late

7-9 Mon-Thursday

So much work I worry I'll wither away

Two extra classes, the fault's all on me

My hopes and dreams of graduating early

Tests and homework, sometimes I forget to breathe

And it's been so long since I've had time for me

So wish me luck, WC. 

Because I know you're about the only one's always willing to hear from me
