Isolation

Isolation

A Poem by Dominique Lambright
"

In a room that no one can save you from, repetitious cycle

"

These white walls

These white chairs

This insanity is real, this insanity can be touched

          These white tables

                                               These white glasses

This insanity is real, this insanity can be touched

These white shackles

These white clothes

This insanity is real, this insanity can be touched

          These white cameras

          These white masked men

This insanity is real, this insanity can be touched

These white tests

These white and black experiments

This insanity is real, this insanity can be touched

          These blank thoughts

Their blank stares

My insanity is real, my insanity can be touched
