My Masked Lover

My Masked Lover

A Poem by Donyay Thomas

You want all of me, but I can only get part of you.
Is it the lies you tell that makes me tingle between my thighs?
Or the words you use to keep me hypnotized?
Don't hide from me I say, but the word "secret" is thrown in my face.
The mystery of your identity arouses me but the curiosity leaves me lonely.
My legs spread waiting
My body aching
My masked lover
