Forgotten

Forgotten

A Poem by Drama Child

Forgotten

I haven’t forgotten that you hurt me

I just won’t keep talking about it with you

But you just keep talking to me

Cause talking is what you do.

I haven’t forgotten what you said

But I’m learning to forget about you

And soon I’ll forget about the friendship

Till’ Your just an acquaintance I knew.

Author's Note

Drama Child
This poem is actually unfinished, well at least to me. I'll add more when I'm ready. I love to keep a piece as a work-in-progress.

Constructive Criticism, comments are always welcomed.
Thank You!

Reads very much like the lyrics of a song. Stands well as it is, adding more of the same would of course improve. A good piece of writing.

It's a pleasure
Thick with emotion captured in your few words. Your use of tense is highly effective.
It feels well rounded in my opinion, if you were of the mind to leave it there as it is it could stand with plenty of integrity. R x
