Strange Delivery

Strange Delivery

A Poem by Cerebriation

It's of a dream, but not American
That's neither here nor there again
It's not unclean, but far from flawless
Quite unprompted, but as promised

Prompt in delivery
Packed quite rigidly
Stamped and sent to me
At my step

It seems oddly timed, but there again
These such blessing we've been sparing in
So, of course it would alarm us
Chances are it's mostly harmless

So, go get it, let me see
Grasp it nice and carefully
Once you're sure it's safe for me
Come get me. I'll be hiding.
