Last poem

If I could draw would things be different
If I could draw a butterfly or a flower
Would people even notice
But I am just a writer
I write poems basted off drawings
The only butterfly is the one I describe,
I guess it never really mattered
Not even to me
because writing is only a lost dream
No I don't think I'll ever write again
Nor would anyone notice
I think this is really the end
I put down my black ink pen
Throw the notebook away
Yes I think today is the day
The last day I may ever write again
I was no good anyways
So dear writers don't be like me
Don't let them crush your dreams
You love doing what your doing so keep going
No matter what anyone else thinks
Your perfect at your dream
So keep writing
because no matter what it's your dream

I really like this, but honestly, I do not think you should put down your black ink pen. If you can write this about quitting, imagine the things you could write about sticking to your writing. Very impressive work here. Keep it up!

I have to agree with trainwreck this was a very good piece. It actually reflected thoughts that I have had from time to time. But then i think there is nothing else is this world that i want to do so i keep on. Good work

This was actually pretty impressive! You crafted this very well. There are a few scattered grammar errors, but those are no fun for me to nitpick. I'm not sure if this was artistic license or if you are serious about quitting, but I think you should keep writing. Your stuff is fun to read.

Thank you for your kind words. When I was writing this I made it quick so I did not have time to fix the grammar nor did I look over it just yet. so I will be sure to fix it. Also I will be adding a chapter in my blog, It's a book I made. I will write why I wrote this so if you want to look at it you can. The title of the chapter will be called "last poem". But thank you so very much to tell me I should keep writing. Your a good writer yourself. I seen much of your work.
