Release Me

Release Me

A Poem by Graveyardfuck

Turn the shades down,

Tie the rope,

Stepping on the chair...

Tap, tap.

My shoes slice through the silence.

Tapping as my feet lead me to the top of the chair.

I'm ready...- wait- I can't...

There's so much to live for.

But there's so much to not.

My life is contradicting,

But why am I still afraid?

Don't give me away...

I'm here.

Alone.

No one cares, no one ever has.

Click, click.

Crouching in the corner,

My demon awaits.

"Release me" I say.

It doesn't wait for an answer,

So I slip on the noose,

And let my body fall...away...

Snap!

Again, no words can describe how much I love this. Your sense of dark and tragic poetry and scenario are amazing.
