I wither away

I wither away

A Poem by DreamSharer

I am withering away...all alone, no one to guide me or help me. I am withering away far from pain and hurt. Far from all the ugliness of people...I am withering away.

I wither away

Like a tree leaf in the fall

I wither away

Like a yellow leaf falling to the ground

I wither away

like a rose that did not get water

I wither away

Like a butterfly that has been squished

I wither

till I die

and no one is there

at my moment of death

No one is there when I whither

I wither away

Like flowers do in winter

I wither away

without anyone noticing

They wake up one day

and I'm all gone

They look for me

but can't find a trace

I withered away...
