Indigo

Indigo

A Poem by moog-drika
"

I don't know why I love playing with the sky so much :3

"

The sky was caramelized,

to produce a discerning mirage on its skin.

The breeze was crispy:

it added a fierce flavor to the scenario.

Mouth of that ravenous seashore was filled

with layers of licit ocean.

It was not a vanilla reflection,

it rather had the skin of tender sky.

I tried to make a drawing of their subtle conversation.

With a brittle heart, I sighed.

Damn! It was heavy.

Do you love to see the indigo sky? I love it when the sky seems so clear without any cloud obstacles and it feels like as if the sky reaches somewhere more higher than it is...and the blue colour of it gets deeper....but can't look at that scene for too long since it hurts my eyes and neck....but I love to gaze at that! (Being silly, no? )
I actually love the first two lines of the second stanza...who else could paint it that way like you did!....I'll tell you why i feel the oceans are really illicit, because they can and do invade any place and connect to thousands of rivers....and none can stand against them....we've let them roam so free!....
Oh you made me say so much today.... I literally thank you for writing this....
Be blessed and cool and safe and happy, always ;)

That first line is dynamite. Boom it goes off and has the reader wondering what could be next after that awesome intro. Beautiful lines and I'm a fan of your work. Well done.

You are welcome my dear friend.
Oh how I hate it when I cant portray something well enough to give it justice like a painting or a poem it is only a facsimile of its true reflection sometimes I feel as if this is the never ending sentence of an artist but we still must try

Short but is written with some mesmerising effects... Fair emphasis is paid on nature and could have involved that part in loud character.., Random and deep emotions are showcased very well in this piece... Wonderful write... Keep writing !!

Yup :3 ...
This read like a dramatic painting converted into words... I was struck by your choice of words - the 'caramelized sky', the 'mirage on its skin', the 'crispy' breeze, the 'licit' ocean, the 'skin of tender sky'... your words created both the visual impression of the sky and the mood and atmosphere it stirred within you as you looked and sketched in words... Definitely one to hang in the gallery.

I read your replies below. Isn't it funny how the sky and nature become clearer when they're not around as much? It must be a desire that shapes ideas and images.

Great poem, moog.

Lovely imagery, but somehow I feel you are missing indigo sky and seashores. Some unfulfilled wishes I guess. Anyway Nicely written.
