YoYo

YoYo

A Poem by Drifting Blue
"

Polarity

"

The string is taut
Walk the dog
It wraps around
Around the world
Circle and up
Under and down
Compressed days of my life
My time in light and shade

Concealed within string and plastic
Are evils and goods
Aching to have their turn down the line
And so often the disc wins
Dangling, hanging, twirling
Useless at the end

Fact and fiction
Land and sea
Complete sequence of fearful prediction
Come true, unraveled, true again
Always traveling the straight line
To the end.

Wow, it's one interesting way pd expressing an idea.
I liked the fact that you kept it short, that avoids the possibility of it getting boring.
