When Tomorrow Started Without You,I didn't know what to do.
I was so numb inside, I couldn't cry, a single tear or few.

I was so lost and confused.
Seemed like a nightmare, that had to come true.

My world had fell apart.
The light went out, and you were gone and I was left here in the dark.
I wish that you could be here,
just one more time.
So I could have one last talk with you, just to smile from ear to ear.

I did think we were far apart,
but as time went on, I slowly saw,
You Were Right Here In My Heart.

Author's Note

My grandfather's favorite poem was When Tomorrow Starts Without Me, and so this was my response to his passing. I miss him dearly, even after a year. I hope you enjoy.
