Cheers Darlin'

Cheers Darlin'

A Poem by Zoie Pain

I don’t want to fight with you tonight,

We both just try to hurt each other

I'll scream how cold you are

What a b***h you've become

You'll say I'm jelouse and

and distand

Let’s stop all this yelling

Why do we always go to blows

When we break each other’s heart

Baby, lock the doors, let’s just go to bed

.. ..

Stop all this crying

Put down that plate,

 No use throwing it now

Let’s turn the table back up

Pick up all this broken glass

And shattered picture frames

.. ..

How’d we get so mean?

When did our silly little arguments

Turn in to all night fights?

When did we fall from grace?

.. ..

I know you’re sorry Darlin’

So am I

But sometimes love is just not enough

Come in here, I’ll clean up your cuts

Did we break the wine?

Lets go sit down

take your glass

And I'll take mine

Cheer's Darlin'
