Mer

Mer

A Poem by Cheavel DeLuna

The shadow of clouds upon your snowy landscapes.

The wispy shapes above my head.

The infinite space between my words.

Filled with light of unimaginable size. Trying to escape.

From themselves.

A thousand  moons. A thousand faces.

Flying without wings.

Trying the catch the eye,

of another.

The foggy surface of planets.

Without any names,

without any shame.
