Dubious

This is an unfinished song. I wrote it on a regretful morning.

I am so disgusted with this way of life,
Watching myself getting old is a losing fight,
I grow my beard just to shave it off and feel young again,
Make new friends and I lose those friends,
And I make new friends,

When I spill my heart out,
You will hear me fuss,
Have you seen what I'm doing?
Take me seriously,
I'm serious,

I could write you a million words about what I do,
But of those words is there a single one that I find to be true,
I'm at fault, and I'm locked in a vault, and I'm insincere,
I hide myself in cigarette smoke and the cheapest beer,

I'm leaning on meaning,
Though it's dubious
I mope in hope,
Take me seriously,
It's dubious

Your poem talks about how your in doubt of having something good happening to you as this moment and it looks like your waiting for someone to hear you out, making them take you serious. this poem is real talk, i think you want to show people what your made of. Being old maybe an disadvantage but you have the capability of changing that.
