Draft Dodger

Draft Dodger

A Poem by Dusty Mondy
"

Track off of Alias Punch album#2, "A New Shade of Blue"

"
I'm a draft dodger, Baby,
And I don't know what that means,
They stamped my name on a paper,
And now they're coming for me,

But what did I ever do to them,
To make them put a gun in my hand?
They want to paint my body all green,
They just won't let me be,

I'm a draft dodger, lately,
They want to see me get hurt,
I'll break my arm in the car door,
And I'll pray to God that it works,

See them climbing mountains on the TV,
Like they're trying to make me see,
Just what is a man,
Make me part of their master plan,
