Another Heart Calls.

Another Heart Calls.

A Poem by Dinkleman
"

This was my very first poem about a guy who ruined his love with a girl and has moved through so many. Sadly, he can't find another girl like her.

"

All the demons that he thought he had slain.

The broken mirror basks in his regret.

The eyes looking back at him are full of pain.

Watching her walk out the door had its debt.

Why did he have to be so vain?

The promise to himself was to never fret.

Images of a girl's tear falling like rain.

So many girls he has met.

Alas, another heart calls, and he must catch the next train.

Interesting, I liked it. Again short yet powerful. Love the sentence: "Images of a girl's tear falling like rain." Well penned.
