Never notice

This poem is about the things that are truly beautiful, we need to appreciate things more in life.

You never notice some of the things,

that are more priceless than diamonds or rings

These are the things that change you,

without them you just aren't you

They could be small or large at sight,

they could be kind or pick a fight

Different shapes and sizes,

all are prizes

Imagine a day without that thing,

that thing more priceless than diamond rings

How would you feel, would you be alright,

without your hope, your life, your light

Be more grateful for all of those things because

Without them you just aren't you.

Hey 'thing' is a versatile word - it means we think about whatever appplies to us - and rhyme's well with just about anything, everything, nothing. Repetition is good repetition is good

This was a well written poem, and the meaning shone through. I think though, that you may have overused the word 'thing' or whatever variation of the word. Maybe you could change it to something else. Go check the thesaurus. It's a writer's best friend in times of searching for another word. ;)
