Art of Poetry

Always having an extra piece of paper,

Make no mistakes declareths the writer,

Deliberate judging by devoted readers,

 

Letters and words forming each stanza,

Details spreading like influenza,

Taking risks and jotting down ideas,

 

Thematic thoughts spilling out on a page,

That feeling by which pencils race,

Blood running through each vein,

 

Time and effort, working solely,

Eyes glued through lens of focusing,

And that my friends, is the art of poetry.
