D E S P E R A T E

A Poem by ENJOY A CUP OF COFFEE

D e s p e r a t e.

Craving a little love in life,

wrapping a rope around your neck,

closing your eyes to block out the sight,

insisting that your life is a wreck,

needing someone to be there for you,

sitting in the corner alone,

contemplating on what to do,

the answer and all to you is unknown,

laughing out loud with a silent cry,

your heart lays heavy on your chest,

broken from how much you try,

let it all end, now you can rest.

Desperate.

This was an interesting poem. Though you commented that you don't actually feel this, you caught the pain and overwhelming emotions that comes with thoughts like that. Wonderful poem.

I like this poem and I think it expresses a life in need of love and caring. I hope it is not a real cry for help and that you are ok. I like the way you did the different kind of writing and how you started and ended it with desperate. cleaver.
