A Fine Way To Dine

A Fine Way To Dine

A Poem by Earl Schumacker
"

Everyone's favorite subject

"

A Fine Way To Dine " No Reservations Needed

Death comes to all who wait

In line for hours to be seated

Eating solid food at cafe Heimlich

Can be a challenge for the living

A place of distinction for extinction

Also a maneuver highly recommended

Breathing is way overrated there

For those interested in projectiles

Shot from the mouth at high velocity

Someone forgot to swallow properly

The brain protects us from ourselves

Is there a doctor in the house cafe

Or a person of interest

Death is something that happens once

To “other people” who wear sneakers

Then chew their food like savages

So wear shoes without laces at restaurants

Proper attire is required at all times

You never know what will happen in life

Keep your mouth shut or insects will fly in

Dinning out can be hazardous to your health

Cafe Heimlich is open at all hours

If you can find the time to die
