Meteor storm

Meteor storm

A Poem by Ed Fagan

I had a relaxing night

There are dead people beneath me.
I sit here, smoke my cigar

watch the stars ...

my problems seem to dissipate ....
at least for a little while.

Must be least he has removed one hand from under his arse to hold his cigar !
Good morning

This poem glows with an understated simplicity. I liken it to a well framed photograph, (landscape lens), zoomed out so as to bring you in.
Nicely done.

I make no claim to be Poet nor a Writer ... I simply sneak off to the keyboard or one of my beloved typewriters when no one is looking. I came here to post and to read the work of other writers... more..
