Albert Rivas

Albert Rivas

A Poem by Ed Fagan
"

Written for Patricio Rivas

"
Grandma's cooking up supper again,
Ol' Albert's working next door like mad.

Memories of Lenorah stay true,
as this Texas heat remains.

The comforts of a childhood past,
come flooding back again.

Some things aren't meant to last,
I quietly say a prayer.

I make no claim to be Poet nor a Writer ... I simply sneak off to the keyboard or one of my beloved typewriters when no one is looking. I came here to post and to read the work of other writers... more..
