The Return

The Return

A Poem by Diasha

I suddenly remembered why I dreaded this place
All the lifeless eyes
All the misjudged glances.

I remember all the hate
All the loneliness
All my fears return
At the end of the day
When the bell rang

My anxiety has reached it's max
but I still refrain from lossing control
Not yet
You're not safe yet

My breaths confirm my life
My empty life
This is what it means to return

To the place I hate
To the place so full of haunting memories
This is what it represents
To a person like me

I was beginning to pull the mask off
For you
But This place
This feeling
I relapse
I'm not sure I'm ready

The summer was so sweet
but all good things must come to an end
Why did it all have to happen so soon.

Why couldn't this fairy tale last?

This is a beautiful poem, although I couldn't quite get the message you were trying to get across (assuming there is one). I did however enjoy the 3rd stanza,.

Keep Up The Good Work
