I rode a long way, longer than I thought it’d take, not just that day, but…for a good time. It all seemed blown to hell, then turned around. My best dream yet, with you.

 

I remember staying up late, just your voice in my head. After you left, I couldn't sleep much, thinking; wondering about something ‘now’, something real for change.

 

Until I slip back.

 

Running after the bus, into the sand, getting our feet wet, skipping rocks, and finding something rare; you let me live. I will relive this, for the rest of my life.

 

You beat my dreams.
