unfinished destination

unfinished destination

A Poem by Aristede Craig Jr

Trying to load it up fold it up folders full
thats enough
eyes they can never see enough
but when i look with my heart mind and all it seems to satisfy the craving
the bones that hold me up are soon to be broken
these word i speak soon to be choken
but of the unspoken i guess another can speak them
i guess im not allowed to preach to them
because im no preacher
i go to church and learn the God's command
and oppinion on what he is saying
everyone threading a diffrent story
how can this quilt warm me
how can i receive a warning
if what im told is wrong or unsure of
or i can prove it wrong
total knowledge never here at home
but the wize ness keep trying to bless me
maybe i should light thy take me
let me learn what you may have taught others that i havent learned yet
give me that knowledge dont hold it back
throw it at me i love the feeling old papers crumbled up reflect me
because they cant read me
why write off beat because sometimes thats how my heart is beating
and any one tall enough stand in front me
but there is many ways to get around you
over under or simply go around too
my path the path they want to block me from
i see it i swear i promise i do but i never make it far

I enjoyed the messiness this piece cause in my imagination. I love how you are questioning every thing you have been told or taught. The best lessons in life are taught from questions. Discovery is key.

this one conjured crazy images in my head, feelings of chaos and frustration, of wanting to speak, but feeling like you can't for whatever reasons...this was so good. I am really enjoying your writing so far :)
