Respect & Equality

Tolerance
It doesn't mean agreeing
Or understanding
Just a mutual respect
For your differences 
Whether you dislike
Or hate 
Their race
Country 
Or Beliefs
Tolerate
We all have different ideas of right
And wrong
But if doesn't mean 
We're superior 
Or they; inferior 
In today's society 
It is a common goal
For equality
But by our rules
We do not listen
And we do not accept
That is not what is required
Tolerance 
Indulgence 
Sensitivity 
Something that humans 
Seem to overlook
However, if we just welcome the idea

That we are all human
Then we may just be able 
To tolerate each other

And eventually reach an understanding
That will benefit us all

God, help me, I sure hope you are right! The day that everyone can agree to disagree and stop being completely out for themselves, is the day I will kiss the ground and glitter will fly out of my soul. The only thing I have to say is that I am not so much for tolerance as much as I am for acceptance. I don't want to have to tolerate...only appreciate. Lovely work on this! It is full of respect and understanding. Job well done.
