Simple Math

Simple Math

A Poem by Edward

The sum of one and one would be two.

If only that one had a clue.

And if that one was not blue.

Or maybe one and one is a few.

This depiction of something when I have nothing.

I gaze beyond or beside of me.

I inference something that must be.

For I am truly unable to see.

Nevertheless I'll play my informality.

I then change my mind and look behind me to the past.

Where all our idiotic problems came to pass.

Most were happy, few where sad.

Some could say they're never mad.

Then they blame the politics.

Which is a silent bomb that starts to tick.

It's the mythological interests I must agree.

And we pick and fuss over lust and greed.

All of this i find useless.

And the you seek are unless.

We change our ways.

And move toward finding better days.

Where each breath is fresh.

Never to give up on the brink of death.

Just be smart and do the math.
