Black Monday

Black Monday

A Poem by Final-Karma
"

Let me fill your minds with my thoughts.

"
I found the love of my life in a coffin at the bottom of a lake
With a noose and anchor
That's where secrets stay

A tragic memorial
Such a festive event

Silver lining spent
I'll never forget

Lay down your hands on barren skin
Life over life we all stand still
A place laid in ruin but teeming with life

Where did time go?
Was it only a facade?

This fateful melody played on heart strings so soft
Calm but loud I hear the heart beat drop
I scream for one sound

You

This poem certainly echoes the longing of the return of the one you valued with all your concern. Its like the lake was the rift between you guys temporarily, but when you got through it you still wanted more. I enjoyed this keep it up.

Great read. Dark and sad. Love the way you ended it. "Calm but loud I hear the heart beat drop
I scream for one sound
You" Great work!
