Wanderer

Wanderer

A Poem by Elaenor Aisling

Wander till no path remains

Till eternity is oe'r

trudging, an aimless traveller

Upon untrodden land

Sleep till dreams come no more

till time falls into space

dreams drifting, an unanchored ship

upon a waveless sea

Feel no more in tired feet

Sunk in the dust of a thousand roads

Let the tide bear thoughts away

into the dark and seamless night

but still, remember me...
