A shout out to all the leaders who were never followers

You there!
Boy, with the no-name polo
And the hand-me-down jeans!
You may not know it but you’re an inspiration.
Of course on the surface you look average and 
You have no great life achievements,
But you’re an inspiration anyway.
Because you are who you are:
A weirdo. 
Then again you’re no ordinary weirdo,
In fact, you’re a stone cold weirdo-
So cold your blood is actually liquid nitrogen,
And like Africans with blonde hair, and
Obese vegetarians, 
You’ve become a living breathing contradiction. 
However, in a world made of plastic
You’ve remained its sole natural resource.
 Despite the fact you’re surrounded by rhinestones,
Dentures and breast implants you’ve found a way to stay

Real.

So when others sneer at you
And degrade you with chants of “Weirdo, Weirdo!”
Mask your face with a smile
And silently chant back at them:
“ Unique-o, Unique-o!”
