Who you’ve met, heard or seen
Friends of friends and family
But what does that even mean

With news good or bad
Days that are happy or sad
Everything in between
Talking to people near and far
But what does that even mean

You’re probably wondering where I’m going with this
I don’t even know myself
I have a lot of things to talk about
But no one to tell

I bet you’re laughing right now saying “but what about them”
Pointing at the faces I know
But do I really know them

I know I’ve repeated a saying
I know it’s sounds mean
When you’ve got close friends and family
But what does that really mean

When you’re struggling to speak
It’s on the tip of your tongue
You want to tell someone
not ruin their fun

So you put it to the side
Deal with it another day
Comes back tenfold
Scary with anxiety

Some people clap you on the back and tell you to man up
Some people give you a hug and say it’s gonna be okay

Try “don’t give up” and not man up
As far as it is to say it’s gonna be okay
Try walking in my shoes for a day
